What is "1000 Breaths"

On the last day of the year in 2010 and 2011, a special event called "1000 Breaths" awakened audiences to their own innate power of freedom as well as supported a movement to free the enslaved children trapped into a prostituted lifestyle they do not truly choose.

What started as the 1000 Breaths fundraiser event has become a movement for the freedom of us all. This blog expands now to encompass all the good works being done in the name of "freedom for all" as heard on the "FREEDOM FOR ALL" Internet Radio show.

The 50th Anniversary of John F. Kennedy's Assassination

Today we replayed our show with Jack Duffy that originally aired on January 4 of this year, all in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of John F. Kennedy's assassination, a topic that has sweeped the nation ... again.

Jack Duffy - a trial lawyer from Ft. Worth, Texas - became interested in the JFK assassination in 1972 after seeing a bootleg copy of the famous Zapruder film of President Kennedy's fatal motorcade. He has been researching the assassination ever since. Jack's entertaining book, The Man From 2063, draws on his deep knowledge and personal research into the President's murder and is therefore based on actual events and people surrounding the assassination. Jack has interviewed many key eyewitnesses to the assassination of President John Kennedy. He has also interviewed two surgeons who treated JFK at Parkland hospital - Dr. Robert McClelland and Dr. Charles Crenshaw. He has interviewed Marina Oswald. Jack has also met many researchers who have written books on the assassination including Vincent Bugliosi, Mark Lane, Josiah Thompson, Robert Groden, Jim Marrs and Gaeton Fonzi.

Inner Freedom

Today we spoke with Rachael Johnson on the Freedom for All Radio Show. Rachael began exploring healing arts and meditation in 2003, after a series of intense and transformational life events. On the show she discussed the little known turning point event in her life that she rarely shares, as well as the pathway that lead her on the high road.

Rachael is an apprentice of the esoteric Taoist practices of the KUNLUN® System. Rachael's early years were blessed by living in the solitude of rural Southern California. Rather than attending school, she had the opportunity to discover the voice and rhythms of nature through nearly uninterrupted immersion. Her time spent in trees and wandering the creek beds was a far higher education than some may imagine.

While attending college at New York University, Rachael became deeply committed to her spiritual awakening, being initiated onto her path through a series powerful dreams and ego-shattering experiences. During this time she delved into the art of sound healing by playing weekly concerts with the Himalayan Voices at Alex Grey's Chapel of Sacred Mirrors (COSM). She has been performing since 2005, and has played at the New York City Museum of Water, the Celebration of Oneness in Los Angeles, and at various yoga studios and hot springs around the country.  Rachael currently has a private healing practice in Leucadia, CA, and holds weekly KUNLUN classes in the San Diego area at www.meetup.com/kunlunSD/

A Mom On a Mission

As we are both 20-year vegetarians, Jim and I were excited to welcome activist Barbara Cole to the show today. Barbara is a mom on a mission.

She spoke in-depth about the policies affecting our children's health, in regards to meals at school and the need for plant-based diet.

Barbara's early advocacy on the PTA grew into a CA Statewide coalition that PASSED - with astounding support - the 2003 "Healthy Vegetarian School Lunch Act," urging the CA schools to serve daily plant-based vegetarian school lunches options.

After some time off to focus on family, she founded Lean and Green Kids in 2009, a non-profit children's health education organization. Since its founding, Lean and Green Kids programs have reached thousands of students in the classroom, the cafeteria, and the community. Lean and Green Kids' advocacy efforts have helped change school food and shape policy at the local, state, and national level.

Most recently, she has written a big, beautiful children's nutrition book for the classroom, SuperFoods to Save the Planet.

On Monday while we were in the presence of a divine spiritual teacher Amma we taped a wonderful show with Larry Kelley. It aired today!

Amazing dialogue about the USA and its common attributes to the fallen civilization Roman Empire. If you are interested in how this country is progressing or regressing, tune into this show. Larry is quite the researcher, and has reviewed trends that have taken place over centuries, to show us where we are and where we could be heading.

Larry’s life was utterly changed by 9/11. On the day after the attacks, on his way to work, he was struck by the sudden realization that World War III had commenced. Like most Americans he desperately wanted to find out who were these people who attacked us, what could ordinary citizens do to join the battle and how can those plotting to kill us in future attacks be defeated. Mr. Kelley has written scores of columns on the dangers of western complacency. In his tenure as a political commentary writer, he has made a significant impact.

His feature articles have appeared in the Piedmont Post, the San Francisco Chronicle, Human Events, and Townhall Magazine. Two of his articles were featured on the cover of Townhall Magazine. He wrote an Op-ed which appeared in the liberal San Francisco Chronicle a month before Obama was inaugurated entitled, A Second New Deal is a Recipe for Disaster. Two and half years later, on August 6, 2011, the Chronicle ran the front-page headline--S&P Downgrades U.S. Credit Rating. The result of ten years of research, his book, Lessons from Fallen Civilizations, contains the answers the above questions he asked in the wake of 9/11. His book has already received critical praise as a saga which begins on the plane of Marathon in 490 BC and whose main character is Western Civilization. His website:  http://larrykelley.com

Jim and Jennifer welcomed Rahasya Poe to the show. And what a fascinating show it was.

What is reality anyway?  Are you free inside the matrix?  Would you even know if you are being controlled by forces that define reality for you?
True freedom, at the most basic level, is addressed here.

Like many seekers, Rahasya Poe possesses a mixture of life experiences that brought him full circle with himself. In 2003, he and his wife, Dhara, wrote The 12 Spiritual Laws of Recovery and Meditations for the 12-Step Program. Rahasya recently appeared on PBS in the documentary A Wave of Compassion, which focuses on alternative ways to deal with addiction. He and his wife now publish Northern California’s Lotus Guide magazine, which takes as its motto, “Helping to heal the world, one community at a time.” It was during interviews for the magazine with cutting edge thinkers, scientists, and healers such as Joe Dispenza, Bruce Lipton, Fred Alan Wolf, Gary Zukav, and Ann McTaggart that he found encouraging words to write this book which documents some of the science and viewpoints of The Neurological and Social Consequences of Belief Systems.

To BElieve or Not to BElieve: The Neurological and Social Consequences of Belief Systems addresses how we limit our conscious evolution by maintaining rigid belief systems that no longer serve us and that indeed are lacking any logic or reason considering today’s advances in physics and neuroscience. Neuroscience has shown that people who meditate have much higher brain coherence than people who don’t; this balance is thought to be the gateway for spiritual enlightenment, which could be viewed as a bioneurological event. In contrast, limiting beliefs create a definite incoherence. Through a better understanding of reality and our relationship to it, humankind will be able to see through the veils of illusion that keep us constantly in conflict with one another. The book’s message reflects the words of Voltaire: “Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities.”

Now here is a lighthearted topic: gun control!

Quite the highly-charged issue in today's society, the second amendment grants US citizens the right to bear arms. With all the media attention on gun slayings, there is a strong debate on both sides of the gun. We had a fascinating guest today who reframed the gun control topic into the rights for the people and freedom of the people to protect themselves. Fascinating.

Today Jim and I spoke with Frank Jack Fiamingo. Frank is a retired businessman who did not grow up around guns and did not give them much thought. At age 61 he was introduced to the shooting sports by his brother in Florida.

His journey began when he decided to apply for a New Jersey Firearms Purchaser Identification card. New Jersey is one of the most over-regulated states with regard to the rights that are supposed to be protected by the Second Amendment. After having his background checked for criminal behavior, his mental health records invasively searched and having been fingerprinted like a common criminal, he began to look into the laws that are the New Jersey Firearms statutes. He founded the New Jersey Second Amendment Society (NJ2AS) in July of 2010 with nine other concerned individuals and now can boast multiple thousands of members. Website:
