Another inspiring show
focused on freedom today - because our show is called Freedom for All. Ashanti
Branch was our guest. Ashanti is an agent of change who holds as his mission to
create a world of freedom by teaching youth to break free from their chains.
Born and raised by a single mother on welfare in Oakland, California, Ashanti
took the road less traveled to get out of the ghetto and attended one of
California’s premier engineering colleges. In 2004 as a first-year teacher,
Ashanti founded The Ever Forward Club to provide a support group for African
American and Latino males who were not achieving to the level of their
potential. The youth development and mentoring program carries a mission to
create communities of students who are setting and achieving their personal
