Today I was musing over the connection between the two aspects of the 1000 Breaths event - the inner healing for participants, and the fundraiser to help free children from sexual exploitation.And the key link I found is that concept: freedom.
On December 31, through the "breathwork" process, we all have the opportunity to go within and find the freedom from our own inner prisons, negative thinking, blocks and barriers.
The fundraiser aspect - to help create the short educational film for middle school children (and their parents) - will help prevent youth prostitution and free children from the prisons of exploitation.
Freedom - it is our birthright. We all deserve to be taken care of. We all deserve respect and consideration. We all have the right to connect with a true self. We all can be free to be ourselves and be included in the care of a shared community.
