What is "1000 Breaths"

On the last day of the year in 2010 and 2011, a special event called "1000 Breaths" awakened audiences to their own innate power of freedom as well as supported a movement to free the enslaved children trapped into a prostituted lifestyle they do not truly choose.

What started as the 1000 Breaths fundraiser event has become a movement for the freedom of us all. This blog expands now to encompass all the good works being done in the name of "freedom for all" as heard on the "FREEDOM FOR ALL" Internet Radio show.

Stopping Youth Violence

Today's show was a special one. We were joined by Tasreen Khamisa - a mother of three, a faithful sister and a woman with a mission. The day of this interview's recording was January 21, 2016 which marked the 21st anniversary of her brother Tariq's murder. After Tariq was senselessly gunned down in a gang-related ambush while he was delivering pizzas in North Park San Diego, their father Azim Khamisa founded TKF, The Tariq Khamisa Foundation. This foundation - which stops youth violence through education, mentorship and restorative practice programs - has impacted millions of children worldwide teaching the principles of nonviolence and peace. Tasreen has guided the foundation as Executive Director two times - 1998 to 2003 and December 2014 to the present. Listen in as she speaks about her brother, the foundation and a purpose that drives her.

Healing Power

On the topic of healing via the power of mind, Brandy Gillmore had much to say today on Freedom for All Radio. Brandy is a platformed speaker who leaves audiences awestruck and amazed by demonstrating the power of the mind to create immediate healing results. Left with no hope for recovery after a devastating accident in 2003 left her disabled and in excruciating pain, she had to turn inward to seek her own answers to heal her herself. Through her personal experiments and discoveries, she created a simple step-by-step process using the power of her mind. Today she works with a wide variety of people including celebrities, entrepreneurs, politicians, Olympic athletes, and people worldwide. She shows people how to use their mind to change not only their health, but their lives using the power we all posses within the mind. Website: www.BrandyGillmore.com
