What is "1000 Breaths"

On the last day of the year in 2010 and 2011, a special event called "1000 Breaths" awakened audiences to their own innate power of freedom as well as supported a movement to free the enslaved children trapped into a prostituted lifestyle they do not truly choose.

What started as the 1000 Breaths fundraiser event has become a movement for the freedom of us all. This blog expands now to encompass all the good works being done in the name of "freedom for all" as heard on the "FREEDOM FOR ALL" Internet Radio show.

From Gang Member to International Leader of Men

What a great show! Today we talked with Jason Campos-Keck. Full name Jason Crazy Bear Tircuit Campos-Keck, is a former gang member from East Oakland who found the freedom to choose another lifestyle and another context for his life, ultimately becoming the VP of Outreach for an international men's organization focused on successful families, careers and communities. With a multi-racial heritage of African American (creole), Native American (Chactaw-Apache), and European, he is also a ceremonial bear dancer, who performs healing ceremonies. His story of life in and out of gangs helps him teach a “way of being” for anybody in his uplifting circles. He presently lives in North Carolina with his wife and two boys, and is cohost of the Jason Crazy Bear show. He can be reached at outreach@mdimen.org.
